Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with Keyboard Treehouse! We are a small hobby shop run by keyboard enthusiasts in Sydney, Australia. 

In the past, we had a storefront but have moved to a warehouse-only space within the same building in Alexandria. If you wish to pick up, get in contact and we’ll try our best to organise a day. 


Order Processing Time

Our standard processing time is 1-2 business days. However, depending on product availability and location, some orders may take longer.

Please note that processing times do not include weekends or public holidays and during peak periods or sales events, processing may take slightly longer. 

We will be in contact via email if there are any delays.


Domestic Shipping (Within Australia)

As of mid-2025, we reviewed and lowered shipping costs for most people - starting from as low as $6.50 for NSW.

Carrier: We use Australia Post Regular or Amarex for all domestic shipments.

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Sydney Metro: 1-2 business days
  • Interstate (Major Cities): 2-4 business days
  • Non-Metro / Regional Areas: 3-5 business days

PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers: These are accepted. Ensure your address is in the correct address format with the first line indicating the PO box or parcel locker number, and the second line for the address of the location.

 

International Shipping

We are proud to ship our products to keyboard enthusiasts around the world. 

Carriers: We use Australia Post International Standard for most shipments. For some orders to Asian countries where a non-English address is provided, we may use DHL eCommerce.

Shipping Costs: International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination and total weight of your order.

Estimated Delivery Time: International delivery typically takes 1 to 3 weeks to arrive, depending on the destination and local customs processing.


Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

  • For All Countries (Except the USA): the recipient of the order is responsible for any and all customs fees, import duties, taxes, or other charges that may be incurred. These fees are not included in the order total or shipping cost and are levied by your country's customs office. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
  • For Customers in the United States: Applicable sales taxes will be calculated and charged at checkout automatically. You will not be responsible for paying additional import duties upon delivery.

If you get an error saying we do not ship to your country, please get in contact as we may need to put in a manual order.

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will automatically receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active.
