Out From Under the Warehouse
We flipped the warehouse over and found a few Praxis R2 keyboards still kicking around.
Stock:
- 5x A stock gold ano
- 1x A- gold ano
- 1x A stock black PVD
One of the A stock units has feet applied.
The A- gold ano unit has a small smudge appearing as a slightly darker area. It is on the back face, left corner. See the last photo in gallery (contrast added to show it clearly). Feet are also applied to the case bottom.
PCB
A Hotswap Valor PCB is included with each order but you can add a solderable one to your order here.
About PVD coating
We had a selection of Praxis go through PVD plating locally. This plating is very hard and highly resistant to tarnishing and corrosion which is very beneficial in many applications – both decorative and functional. In this case, we've chosen it to create a reflective and unique praxis. It will get attract fingerprints and others markings and is part of the aging 'patina' experience of using PVD.
Note: The plating adds thickness and assembly of parts will be a bit tighter.

Changes from R1 include
- Changed to a seamless design to allow for uniform colour through out the visible external surfaces.
- Changed to a polycarbonate base with a slab-type weight.
- Reduced overall bezel size to reduce desk footprint.
- Reduced overall keyboard height for better comfort.
- Changed USB port to USB-C with a better and tighter port cut-out.
- Changed to Xelus' Valor PCB that uses side firing LEDs.
- Changed to AEBoards standard feet.
